At Y.L.O EVENTS PLANNER, we strive to deliver exceptional event planning services and build lasting relationships with our clients. However, we understand that plans can change. This Refund Policy outlines the procedures for issuing refunds for services booked through our website or directly with our team.

Generally speaking, a Refund Policy typically addresses the following issues: the timeframe for requesting a refund, whether the refund will be full or partial, the conditions under which a refund is granted, and other important terms designed to protect both the customer and the service provider. Our policy below provides clarity on how refunds are handled at Y.L.O EVENTS PLANNER.

Deposits

​

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date and initiate planning services.

  • This deposit covers preliminary work and reserves time on our calendar.

  • Deposits are non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.​

Cancellation by Client

​

If you cancel your event or service agreement, the refund will be based on how far in advance the cancellation occurs:

​

Time of Cancellation: 

60+ days before the event, 50% of the payment will be refunded (excluding the deposit).

30+ days before the event, 25% of payments will be refunded (excluding the deposit).

Less than 30 days before the event, NO refund is available.

Refunds account for the time, labor, and costs already invested in planning your event.

Cancellation by Y.L.O EVENTS PLANNER

In the rare event that we must cancel our services due to unforeseen or emergency circumstances, we will:

  • Notify you as soon as possible.

  • Issue a full refund, including the deposit, if no services have been provided.

  • If partial work has been completed, a pro-rated refund will be calculated based on services delivered.

Force Majeure

​

We are not liable for refunds in cases of force majeure, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Pandemics or public health emergencies

  • Government restrictions

  • Venue shutdowns

  • Transportation disruptions

We will do our best to reschedule your event or offer credit toward future services; however, refunds may not be available under these circumstances.

Vendor Refunds

​

If third-party vendors (such as caterers, venues, entertainers, etc.) are involved in your event:

  • Their individual refund policies will apply.

  • Y.L.O EVENTS PLANNER is not responsible for third-party refunds but can assist with communication when possible.

Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please get in touch with us in writing at:

Include the following in your request:

  • Your full name

  • Event date

  • Reason for cancellation

  • Booking or invoice number (if available)

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days via the original payment method, unless otherwise arranged.
